She is currently an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at Shalby Hospital in Jaipur. But in the past, she has done a lot of commendable work as a Professor & Head of The Department of Oral- Maxillofacial Surgery at Jaipur Dental College. While working there, she has made her share of contributions by guiding post-graduate students in research work and in their surgical treatments. She has done a remarkable job supervising the research undertaken by PhD students in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery. She has guided necessary research by PhD students on the evaluation of antibacterial properties of nanoparticles on isolates from oral infection and to evaluate the efficacy of 2.0 mm titanium locking mini plates in the management of mandibular fractures.

Dr Savina Gupta, the best Dental Surgeon, as a faculty in Oral Surgery, had performed clinical demonstrations for post-graduate & undergraduate students along with conducting seminars, journal clubs and examinations of post-graduate and undergraduate students. She also gave lectures to third and fourth year undergraduate students. Before that, she worked for ten years as a Professor, Associate Professor, and Lecturer in the Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery at D Y Patil University's School of Dentistry.
